Termite damage can occur even in brick and concrete, and can happen in the upper floors of buildings.
"I didn't know... the damage caused by termites!" Termites, which prefer warm and humid conditions, are causing damage as far north as Hokkaido. This is due to global warming, the promotion of insulation and airtight construction in buildings, and issues with on-site construction. These omnivorous insects form resilient colonies and sometimes chew through brick and concrete; recently, damage has also been confirmed in the upper floors of condominiums. "Perform Guard" is a termite-resistant insulation material made using a technology developed by AFM Corporation that uniformly incorporates a harmless inorganic compound (boron-based). Its termite resistance lasts semi-permanently, and since the components do not naturally decompose, it does not cause soil contamination or harm the global environment. It is a product that does not fall under regulations for sick house measures, does not emit harmful substances like formaldehyde, and is considerate of health and the environment. *If you would like a sample, please contact us with "Request for Cut Sample" noted. *For more details, please contact us or download the PDF.
