We have delivered sign lighting using tunnel lighting fixtures, the first of its kind in Japan, to the Shin-Meishin Expressway (from Takatsuki JCT/IC to Kobe JCT).
Sign lighting refers to tunnel lighting that glows white, which flashes red during a vehicle fire, and flashes yellow in the event of abnormalities such as accidents, falling objects, or broken-down vehicles, alerting drivers. This allows drivers to drive with peace of mind.

basic information
We are engaged in manufacturing that contributes to a society of information and safety by challenging new technologies. To eliminate rear-end collisions caused by tunnels, which often occur on highways, we have supplied sign lighting. In the event of a fire occurring within a tunnel, the lighting fixtures will flash red. In such cases, by stopping and not entering the tunnel, secondary damage can be minimized. To avoid collisions with broken-down vehicles or accidents caused by falling objects, the lights will flash yellow, so please reduce your speed and drive carefully at that time. Until now, we have alerted drivers with text information only, but from now on, you will be able to understand that we are providing visual alerts. By adopting LED lighting, dark tunnels will become brighter, and by providing danger information, traffic congestion is also expected to ease. As a result, you will be able to enjoy a comfortable journey on time, whether planning a family trip or a bus tour. Additionally, you will be able to avoid rear-end collisions caused by traffic jams in tunnels, ensuring a safe and secure journey. This is the manufacturing of Seiwa Electric that delivers peace of mind and safety.

Company information
Hoshia Electric has established itself as a top manufacturer in various fields, including information display systems such as road information boards, industrial lighting known for its waterproof and explosion-proof features under the name "Water Pearl," tunnel lighting that began with the full-scale installation in the Kanmon Tunnel, and resin products represented by "Cutting Duct." As a new business, we started an electromagnetic noise countermeasure (EMC) product business in 1997 to address electromagnetic noise issues arising from digital devices. In the LED business, we successfully developed a blue light-emitting diode in April 2002 and a white light-emitting diode in December of the same year. Based on these technologies, we are actively expanding our business in the field of LED lighting fixtures, ranging from roads and tunnels to industrial lighting. On March 9, 2018, Hoshia Electric Co., Ltd. was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange First Section. In April 2022, we transitioned to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market. Moving forward, we will continue to leverage our creative thinking and technological capabilities cultivated thus far to develop even more innovative products and strive for business expansion.
