Introducing a case study of a rack manufacturing factory built in a heavy snowfall area (with 90cm of snow accumulation)!
We will introduce examples of "system construction" that allow for the selection of suitable roofs, walls, and structures based on the intended use, size, and regional environment of factories and warehouses, achieving short construction periods and low costs. The rack manufacturing factory located in Fukushima Prefecture is a single-story building constructed in a heavy snowfall area (with snow accumulation of 90 cm). By incorporating truss structures into part of the framework, it achieves a large open space while also reducing weight. 【Construction Example】 - Completion Date: March 2013 (Heisei 25) - Location: Fukushima Prefecture - Total Floor Area: 3 buildings, 41,349 m² (12,508 tsubo) - Obtained "ABINC Certification" (factory considering biodiversity) - "2015 Good Design Award" (Exterior wall material: J-Wall) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
