【Processing during Renovation (Excerpt)】 <If retaining the existing waterproofing layer> ■ Thoroughly clean the surface of the existing waterproofing layer. ■ For existing asphalt blisters and lifts, cut them open, heat them well with a torch burner, and after drying the underlying moisture, reapply and fuse them. ■ Remove areas of the waterproofing layer that have blisters, lifts, or severe deterioration, or areas that are difficult to reapply, using a cutter, and apply resin mortar or similar to smooth them out. ■ If the existing waterproofing layer is synthetic polymer roofing waterproofing (PVC resin sheet), it should generally be completely removed. ■ If the existing waterproofing layer is a urethane coating waterproofing, remove blisters, peeling, and weakened areas, and apply resin mortar or similar to smooth them out. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
