Applications/Examples of results
This is a simple kit for screening for fire ants when unfamiliar ants are found near trade ports or import cargo warehouses. A few sample ants are crushed in a buffered tube and diagnosed using an immuno-strip kit. If two lines appear, it can be determined that the sample ants are fire ants.
