The "MAC address entry" registers the client's MAC address information within the switch and determines whether to permit or deny communication based on the registered MAC address information. The number of MAC addresses that can be registered is a maximum of two per port. To facilitate the MAC address registration process, it is also possible to automatically register the client that initiated data communication first and the client that initiated data communication second.
