We deliver "flame retardant" and "weather resistant" protection for wood!
The 'Kimamori Specialty' is a domestically produced high-performance wood coating made from plant oils. It combines boron-based flame retardant components with a plant oil base, allowing for flame retardant effects simply by applying it, known as 'FIRE Protect.' Additionally, it features a plant oil base with high weather resistance components (fluorine-based resins + high UV cut agents), which can resist color fading for up to 8 years, called 'WEATHER Protect.' Utilizing natural materials such as linseed oil and natural pigments, it has almost no odor and does not negatively affect the skin. In 2003, the Building Standards Act was revised, and regulations regarding sick house syndrome were strengthened. However, rather than eliminating sick house syndrome, the number of cases is still on the rise. This is because, no matter how much the content of harmful chemicals in existing chemical-based paints and adhesives is reduced, their harmful effects on the human body remain. Our company manufactures and sells products made from 100% natural materials for paints and adhesives used in wooden parts of houses. We use "nikawa" (animal glue), which has been utilized as an adhesive since ancient times, as the main raw material, and we process it with Aomori hinoki oil and other materials to create our products. Currently, there is a growing trend of use among builders who prefer additive-free products, construction companies that utilize locally sourced domestic timber, and public projects such as schools and daycare centers.
