Dual digital Hall effect output orthogonal rotation speed & direction detection sensor
Honeywell's SNG-Q series right-angle phase speed and direction sensor provides information on both speed and direction. Speed information is provided from a digital square wave output, while direction is provided using orthogonal outputs of signals that are phase-shifted by 90° from each other. In the case of orthogonal outputs, the direction of the target is determined by the output lead/lag phase shift. • High reliability: IP69K rated, EMC radiation immunity protection, O-ring sealing • High cost competitiveness: Designed and manufactured using a platform-based approach, offering improved cost competitiveness and the possibility of mechanical and electrical configuration changes. • Improved accuracy: Dual differential Hall effect sensor IC technology enables enhanced functionality to detect small target fixtures. • Adaptability: A wide operating temperature range, robust electrical noise resistance, and enhanced environmental sealing capabilities provide flexibility in applications. • Reduced installation time: O-ring seals and fixed mounting flanges for pressure applications enable easy installation with just one fastener.
