This mechanism simplifies control design, complex wiring, and labor-intensive maintenance tasks. By being able to connect to various devices, it reduces the need for relay equipment, lowers the costs of peripheral devices, minimizes the occurrence of malfunctions, enables early detection, reduces downtime, and improves production efficiency—all achievable with this encoder. Since absolute value measurement can be performed with an analog mechanical mechanism, there is no need for computational analysis, and returning to the origin is unnecessary. Absolute value data can be communicated directly from the encoder via parallel and serial communication (BCD, RS-232C). From March 2019, RS-422 and RS-485 options are available. Communication can be differentiated for simultaneous use or according to application needs.
