Akasaka Excel Hotel Tokyu introduced internet connection services to all guest rooms in October 2006, in response to the rapid increase in internet users. The system implemented throughout the hotel meets the requirements from Akasaka Excel Hotel Tokyu for "high security and comprehensive customer support" as essential conditions. This time, the NetAccess gateway "NA500" from IP3 Network, equipped with firewall functionality, was introduced as the gateway server. The NA500 prevents unauthorized access from outside through its firewall function and, by linking with FXC switches, can collect logs of network usage in each guest room, ensuring thorough security measures at the room level.
