I participated in training using a "mobile processing unit" that operates when livestock are infected with infectious diseases, and I was responsible for the incineration of the products generated during the training.

Taiyo Service Co., Ltd. participated in training using a mobile processing unit for livestock owned by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, which was featured in the Chunichi Shimbun on October 19, 2017 (Wednesday). While burying cattle and pigs infected with infectious diseases is common on-site, securing space is challenging in areas with limited land. In this training, we simulated an outbreak of livestock infectious diseases and incinerated sealed containers filled with minced products that had been crushed, heated, and sterilized using the mobile processing unit at Taiyo Service's facility. There are only a limited number of processing facilities in the country that can handle such cases, and Taiyo Service's well-equipped facilities and track record have been recognized.
