Predictive maintenance: Visualizing the cycle time of each equipment as part of anomaly management.
We will introduce a case study of improvements in FA (Factory Automation) sites proposed by Patlite. In a manufacturing factory where the equipment status is displayed on an Andon board, there is a problem of not being able to manage the takt time, resulting in processing not being completed as scheduled. In response, we proposed the new information display light "LA6 type." This product receives input signals from the equipment and, when the set time is reached, it flashes blue, making it immediately clear which equipment has a problem. Additionally, it easily notifies the signs of equipment maintenance based on the frequency of takt time overruns. 【Case Study】 ■ Issues - Frequent occurrences of processing not being completed within the set time - Understanding the reasons for decreased equipment operating rates and implementing visualization improvements - While the equipment status is displayed on the Andon board, there are no functions for managing takt time - Significant costs are incurred for additional construction to take signals from each piece of equipment to the Andon board ■ Proposal - Receive input signals from the equipment and flash blue when the set time is reached - Takt time can be set arbitrarily using the LA6 editing application *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/
