POS refers to a high-function cash register system with aggregation capabilities. For example, in the retail industry, the role of the POS register encompasses important functions ranging from the settlement processing at the point of sale to product, inventory, and customer management. The now indispensable POS register was imported from the United States in the 1890s and widely introduced in department stores in the 1910s, evolving uniquely as the importance of IT in business has increased. For instance, in Japan, automatic change dispensers that manage the mainstream cash payments have become fully integrated with POS registers as part of the POS system in the retail industry, including supermarkets and drugstores. It has now expanded its reach to the medical industry, including hospitals and clinics.

A POS system that can be easily operated from the day it is introduced, designed with features and screen layouts that can be used with confidence by people of all generations. Based on customer feedback that "there are too many features and it's hard to master," we have included only the truly necessary functions.
