【New Chemical Substance Declaration】 ■ Investigation Investigation of the registration status in the "Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China" (IECSC) ■ Filing For scientific research purposes, sample import purposes, declaration amount: <0.1t/year ■ Simplified Declaration *Basic Situation* - If the annual production or import volume of the new chemical substance is less than 1t - Testing conducted: Three types of ecotoxicity tests in domestic laboratories (rapid biodegradability, acute toxicity to fish, acute toxicity to earthworms) - Declaration amount: <1t/year Simplified Declaration *Special Situation* Only selectable if the following conditions are met - Scientific research purposes (0.1t ≤ declaration amount < 1t/year) - Intermediates or products exclusively for export (declaration amount < 1t/year) - Polymers - Research and development purposes for technology and products (declaration amount < 10 tons/year limited to within 2 years) ■ Regular Declaration For business purposes, application is required according to the declaration amount Level 1 (1t ≤ declaration amount < 10t/year) Level 2 (10t ≤ declaration amount < 100t/year) Level 3 (100t ≤ declaration amount < 1000t/year) Level 4 (declaration amount ≥ 1000t/year) ■ Application for Inclusion in the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances New chemical substances declared under regular declaration are subject to the following classification: - General category → Authorities of the ecological environment department include in the "Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances" (IECSC) - Hazardous category - Key environmental management hazardous category
