The solar boats were introduced in the 2002 fiscal year. Currently, the usage has expanded to a total of 20 boats, including 18 large sightseeing boats and 2 toilet boats. Solar panels are installed on the roof of the boats, providing natural energy to power the lighting used inside the boat and the pump for flushing the toilet.
