Traditionally, when the height or strength of a rockfall protection fence was insufficient, it was necessary to remove and reinstall the fence or raise it with concrete. The reinforced fence addresses this by installing additional support posts over the existing posts to increase the height, and by using a special wire net with cushioning fittings to efficiently enhance the energy absorption capacity against falling rocks.
