The MS242, housed in a sturdy case, is made with the highest quality components for smooth card swiping. Its unique head design ensures ease of use for users by reliably reading over one million read cycles with a single swipe. The entire unit is approximately the same length as a credit card, at 100 millimeters. The MS242 supports three-track magnetic stripe cards regardless of the swipe direction or speed. It can connect to a PC or Mac via a USB interface, and on Windows PCs, it is possible to program the format and configuration of data to meet the application's communication requirements. It can be mounted on a counter or wall using two brass screw holes at the bottom or Velcro. Additionally, the LED indicator lights up red to alert the user in case of an error.
