"Scrum Sand B" is a high-quality baked sand artificially developed for use as topdressing and floor sand on golf courses. Compared to regular silica sand, it excels in crush resistance and heat absorption rate. When spread on the grass surface, it absorbs and radiates sunlight, raising the temperature of the grass surface and promoting the melting of snow and frost. It mainly consists of MgO (magnesium oxide) and SiO2 (silicon dioxide), and due to its dark gray color, it exhibits significant snowmelt insulation effects when used as topdressing.
