Notice of Shutter Regular Inspection

The regular reporting system for fire prevention equipment has changed, and inspections and reports have become mandatory.

At Omata Shutter Industry Co., Ltd., we conduct regular inspections of shutters. As a measure to prevent accidents where fire doors, which are supposed to close automatically during a fire, do not operate properly, it has become necessary to conduct regular inspections by fire protection equipment inspectors through the introduction of new inspection standards and a review of the inspection targets. Inspections of fire protection equipment and fire extinguishing equipment as required by the Fire Service Act must both be carried out. If fire doors, fire shutters, and fire dampers that block smoke and flames are not adequately maintained through regular inspections, they may not function effectively during a fire.
