Rigid PVC sheets combine high processability and excellent functionality as a general-purpose resin. 1. They have high flame retardancy and are difficult to ignite. 2. They excel in electrical insulation and do not conduct electricity. 3. They have excellent chemical resistance (especially to acids and alkalis) but are weak against organic solvents. 4. They are inexpensive and have excellent secondary processing capabilities (vacuum forming, cutting, punching, printing, bonding, etc.). 5. Various properties of sheets can be created through formulation, such as sheets with high heat resistance, sheets with strong impact resistance, and matte sheets that do not regain gloss after thermal forming. 6. They are weak in heat resistance; when heated above 60°C, deformation of the molded products begins, and at temperatures exceeding 80°C, the material itself starts to soften.
