The surface texture is slightly rough. It is easy to work with due to its low resin content. One of its major features is that even those with little woodworking experience can process it quickly. Uses: Counters, tabletops, shelves, interior materials, furniture materials, building materials, study desks, stair materials, handrails, custom materials (kamoi), frame materials. Cautions: Generally, it is a soft species, so it is not suitable for applications requiring hardness, but it is occasionally used in furniture production. It is also prone to splitting.
