Minco's SLT (Self-Limiting Technology) heater was developed as a replacement for traditional heaters and temperature controllers. It uses patented PTC characteristics with polymer materials and meets various temperature control requirements without the need for temperature sensors or controllers. This simplifies system design and reduces manufacturing and operational costs. Heaters designed for each application adjust their output according to the usage environment, achieving self-temperature control. Unlike existing PTC heaters from other companies, its film-like structure provides flexibility and lightweight characteristics, avoiding constraints during application. The resistance of the polymer compound increases exponentially once the designed temperature is reached, automatically suppressing power. This eliminates the risk of overheating, making it suitable for environments where safety is a priority.

The SLT heater maintains the temperature of the heating target in a stable environment. At low temperatures, it operates at high output, but as the temperature rises, the output gradually decreases, becoming almost zero near the set temperature. The SLT heater has strong PTC (positive temperature coefficient) characteristics, allowing it to quickly reach the predetermined set temperature. Unlike other manufacturers' PTC ceramic heaters, it exhibits PTC characteristics across the entire temperature range from -100°C to the specified set temperature.
