Our company, which has tackled odor control measures for various factories, will introduce case studies from overseas. 【Odor Control Measures for Automotive Parts Manufacturing Factory (Aluminum Casting)】 ■Background We received a consultation from an automotive parts manufacturing factory in Thailand, which was experiencing odor complaints from surrounding factories and wanted to implement countermeasures. Upon confirming the current situation, we found that the main odors were phenol, burnt smells, and ammonia odors generated during aluminum casting. Although measures such as raising the height of existing exhaust outlets had been implemented, complaints continued unabated.
