Excellent workability and shortened construction period! Case study of road construction using air rotary method.
This document presents a case study of the "Mast Drilling System" by Tanigaki Construction Co., Ltd., which is engaged in consulting services, landslide countermeasures, and slope disaster prevention projects. The construction ordered for a large-diameter boring machine was carried out using the air rotary method. As a result, we were able to reduce scaffolding work by 680 cubic meters and shorten the construction period by 51 days. By not using muddy water, we completed the project without generating industrial waste. After completion, the main contractor received additional points for their construction performance due to the active use of the new method developed in the prefecture. Due to the positive feedback, we were selected for continued work in the following year. 【Overview】 ■ Project Name: Heisei 24 Fiscal Year Wide Area No. 1-22 Nishi-Hata Road Construction in the Left Bank Area of the Kinokawa River ■ Client: Wakayama Prefecture Ito Promotion Bureau Construction Department ■ Construction Location: Nishi-Hata, Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture ■ Construction Period: August 13, 2013 – February 14, 2014 ■ Construction Details: Steel pipe piles φ508.0mm Excavation length 18.5m – 22.0m, 24 pieces *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
