This section generates a strong electrostatic field that instantly positively charges passing particles. ■ Collecting Cell The plates have a strength equivalent to duralumin and are designed with two indentations each, allowing the plates to be parallel while controlling airflow. Charged particles are instantaneously pressed onto the dust collection plate with a repulsive force 1000 times their mass.
