It can seal at lower surface pressures than other semi-metallic gaskets, is robust and easy to handle even in large diameter gaskets, can be processed into various shapes including frame shapes, and provides stable sealing performance even in narrow gasket configurations. Designed for heat exchangers, Type 108 demonstrates excellent performance.
