The red pine, which accounts for about 30% of the coniferous trees in Nagano Prefecture, is the only conifer that regenerates naturally and is characterized by the beauty of its natural wood grain and the fine texture of its surface. When used as interior materials, the transparent reddish-brown color deepens over time, adding a rich character.
