Active electrodes can be connected to many EEG amplifiers with DIN terminals. They feature high-quality electrode connectors that allow for easy one-touch insertion and removal, and the sintered type can easily restore the electrode surface condition by polishing the surface. They can be used for various purposes in ergonomics, psychometrics, and basic medical research, and can be made compatible with active electrodes for bioamplifiers manufactured by Melon Technos Co., Ltd. There are five types of electrode drive units available, ranging from 1 channel to 32 channels. Ring-type electrodes can also be used with optional caps. Additionally, an active electrode development kit that can connect to user-developed electrodes is also available (please inquire).

1) Electrode Types The following three types of electrodes are available for selection: ■ Sintered Standard Active Electrode: 12mmΦ Primarily used when attached directly to the skin. Typically, high-quality data acquisition is possible by using electrode paste; however, if the surface is flat, the skin is well cleaned, and good adhesion is ensured, data measurement can be performed to some extent even without paste. ■ Sintered Ring Active Electrode: 12mmΦ A ring electrode with a hole in the center for paste injection. Mainly used in conjunction with a head electrode cap. It is used by fitting into the resin ring of the electrode cap. After placing the electrode cap, electrode paste is injected through the central hole to electrically connect the scalp and the electrode. ■ Sintered Ring Active Electrode with Resin Frame: A ring electrode with a hole in the center for paste injection. This type has a smaller sintered ring size and includes a resin frame on the electrode side. Mainly used in conjunction with a head electrode cap. It is used by fitting into the resin ring on the electrode cap side. After placing the electrode cap, electrode paste is injected through the central hole to electrically connect the scalp and the electrode.
