The Multi-4/USB features communication at a maximum of 921.6Kbps and includes an overrun error prevention function with a 256-byte FIFO. By achieving productization with minimal components, it has reduced costs while simultaneously improving reliability. It is widely compatible with almost all Windows and Linux operating systems. You can choose from two types: RS232 and RS422/RS485 (COMBO). It is ideally designed for environments such as POS, factory automation (FA), and building automation. The Multi-4/USB can supply power from +5V and +12V to external devices via pin 9, enabling bus-powered operation without the need for external power input for barcode readers and receipt printers. It has built-in surge protection of 15,000V, preventing surge currents and port damage, thus providing safer communication.
