It is a fluffy felt-touch airlaid non-woven fabric that is actively used in unseen areas, from household goods to agricultural and industrial materials.
The web is formed using the airlaid method, which disperses pulp fibers and other materials in the air rather than in water. This allows for the creation of a bulky web. While maintaining the bulkiness of the web, a water-based adhesive (binder) is evenly sprayed using a unique method and then processed into sheets after drying. The binder can be selected based on its intended use, considering factors such as food compatibility and strength. There are products made from wood pulp, such as "Kinocross," products with a layer of low basis weight long fiber rayon on the surface of Kinocross called "Palkross," products with added synthetic fibers called "Highcross," and products blended with polymer absorbents called "B-SAP." It is also characterized by the ability to color in relatively small lots. Ipros introduces processed products based on "Kinocross," "Palkross," and "Highcross." *For more details, please visit the official website http://www.kinocloth.co.jp. *Some TDS non-woven fabrics, such as "Soft Sheet," are also included.

basic information
Product Characteristics 1. Absorbency Utilizing a unique pulp airlaid method, it features the most voluminous fiber structure. By trapping liquid in these voids, Kinocross can absorb approximately 35 times its own weight in water (with an oil absorption ratio of about 12 times). Density control through pressing allows for the adjustment of liquid diffusion and retention capabilities based on application and purpose. Water repellency can also be imparted using a special binder. 2. Filtration and Breathability By leveraging the advantages of a voluminous three-dimensional orientation and adjusting thickness in the final pressing process, as well as selecting the fiber shape used, it is possible to control the filter suitability most appropriate for each application. 3. Flexibility Extremely soft pulp fibers are transformed into a fluffy sheet using a unique airlaid method. This results in a soft texture similar to felt. A layer of rayon with an even softer texture can be laminated on the surface layer to create a gentler sheet. 4. Cushioning and Shock Absorption The voluminous and low-density characteristics of the airlaid method excel in cushioning and shock absorption. It protects equipment, fruits, and fresh products without causing damage. By adding antibacterial agents, it is also possible to create functional cushioning materials with added value, such as freshness retention.
Applications/Examples of results
1. Food and Cooking (Cooking paper, wrapping bags, tray mats, tablecloths) 2. Hygiene and Beauty (Paper towels, cosmetic puffs, face masks, sanitary products) 3. Medical and Care (Dental aprons, care sheets, care towels, paper diaper products, surgical supplies) 4. Industry and Packaging (Wipers, packaging materials, cushioning materials) 5. Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries (Hydroponic seedling sheets, sheets for fruits and flowers, cleaning cloths, packaging materials, cushioning materials)
Detailed information
-
Kinocross Manufactured using our company's Air Raid method. The raw material is 100% wood pulp, which is bonded and sheeted using a special binder spray method. As a result, it has a low web density and excels in liquid retention, filtration, and bulkiness. Additionally, functions such as antibacterial properties, hydrolysis resistance, and flame retardancy can be added.
-
Palkross Long fibers such as rayon are laminated on one side or both sides of Kinokross. As a result, it is a product that excels in strength, surface smoothness, and flexibility compared to Kinokross. It has a soft feel and is suitable for hygienic materials, cosmetic puffs, face masks, and more.
-
High Cross This is a product with excellent strength, made by blending synthetic fibers with Kinocross. It maintains high strength both in dry and wet conditions, and the volume is not compromised even when wet. It is also capable of producing high-density and thick materials. Due to the possibility of blending various types of fibers, it is a non-woven fabric rich in a wide range of functionalities, from soft products to those with excellent scraping properties.

Model number | overview |
---|---|
Hydroponic Seedling Sheet (for Kaiware Daikon and Sprouts) | This is used as a seedbed for hydroponic cultivation, which is one of the facility-grown vegetable groups, particularly for germinated vegetables (sprouts) represented by kaiware daikon. |
Fruit Buffer Sheet | Made from soft and moisture-absorbent material, it is suitable for protecting delicate fruits. Additionally, it comes in various colors, not just white, but also green and other colored options to match the contents. |
Floral Freshness Retention Buffer Sheet | This protects the vulnerable parts of flowers during transportation. It has moisture retention properties to maintain freshness. |
Anti-Scratch Cardboard Buffer Material | This is a buffer material with a layer of Kinokuro cloth adhered to the surface of cardboard. It is suitable for preventing scratches during the transportation of industrial parts and for buffering fruits. |
Zeolite-Infused Freshness Retention Sheet | This sheet contains powdered zeolite. The porous zeolite absorbs toxins (waste) from shrimp during transportation, helping to maintain freshness. (Note: This sheet is made of TDS non-woven fabric, not BK non-woven fabric.) |
