【Case Overview】 ■Product Name: NX Nastran There has been an image that Super Elements (SE) are only applicable in the aerospace and automotive fields and can only be used by a limited number of analysis specialists. There has been no pre- and post-processing tool that fully supports SE analysis, and the data creation process has been complicated, which has hindered its widespread adoption until now. Femap has started to support external Super Elements for Nastran from version 11. In this case study, we will use an assembly model from the Femap example collection to demonstrate that SE analysis can be used by anyone with Femap v11.
