Introduction to the functions and characteristics of surge absorption capacitors and grounding capacitors!
This catalog introduces the functions and characteristics of surge absorption capacitors and grounding capacitors. <Surge Absorption Capacitors> Generally, rotating machines and transformers are installed in confined spaces, making it difficult to enhance their insulation strength due to structural limitations. Therefore, protective devices are necessary to ensure the safety of the system. "Surge absorption capacitors" are an effective means of protecting against these abnormal voltages compared to other methods. <Grounding Capacitors> A step-down insulating transformer is installed on-site, and a grounding relay activated by a zero-phase current transformer is set up for equipment protection. In this case, to perform grounding protection on the secondary side, it is necessary to connect a grounding capacitor on the power supply side rather than the ZCT to obtain the detection zero-phase current. *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
