The GFC-5 type (SF6 gas-filled) is a gas-filled high-voltage capacitor that uses a harmless, non-flammable, and non-explosive gas instead of insulating oil, ensuring safety without concerns about secondary disasters such as fires. It is equipped with a lower pressure switch for protection contacts that operates in response to a decrease in gas pressure due to gas leaks. Additionally, in the event of an internal failure, it features a dual safety design with an upper pressure switch and a safety valve that activate in response to abnormal gas pressure increases.
