Contributing to cost reduction with high strength and excellent durability! Introducing case studies of FRP pergolas.
As one example of the installation of "FRP Pergolas," we introduce the case of the "Kumagawa Cycling Road (Yumemai Hitoyoshi Bicycle Path)" in Kumamoto Prefecture. The area along the Kumagawa Cycling Road has few large trees, so a pergola was installed as a shaded facility for resting while enjoying the cool waters of the Kumagawa River during the summer. FRP materials, known for their strength and durability, were chosen as the vines will be intertwined with the pergola. Additionally, there are many other installation examples, such as at the Polytechnic College of Kawauchi (Kagoshima Prefecture). 【Overview】 ■ Kumagawa Cycling Road (Yumemai Hitoyoshi Bicycle Path) ■ Kumamoto Prefecture, installed in June 2015 ■ W3.0m × L3.55m, 11 units ■ Louvers, beams: FRP (pultruded material) ■ Structure: Steel and recycled wood For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

■FRP materials that are lightweight, have high strength per unit weight, are corrosion-resistant, and are strong against salt damage. ■Pin foundation bases that do not require the use of heavy machinery or excavation of the ground surface. Our company has introduced these two technologies ahead of other companies in Japan and boasts a wealth of construction achievements. We are involved in the design and construction of bridges, decks, boardwalks, and piers in national parks and theme parks that are well-known to everyone. By partnering with a Dutch company and introducing new technology using FRP materials, we have made it possible to construct long-span FRP bridges that were previously difficult to achieve. Furthermore, a durability of over 60 years is expected, making this a technology that can open up new markets in the future.
