The Edge AI processor AiOnIc is a product developed by ArchiTek Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Osaka). Sanyu Co., Ltd. will focus on contract development of solutions utilizing this product. Devices that utilize the cloud (such as surveillance cameras and facial recognition) can be affected by the network environment, leading to issues such as processing delays and data load limitations. AiOnIc is a high-performance LSI that enables fast processing that is not dependent on the network environment, as it can efficiently process data on the edge. Additionally, it features compatibility with ONNX and libraries based on OpenCV, offering ease of use similar to Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano. Its excellent performance in low power consumption, low latency, and low cost, which are essential for edge processing, is a unique advantage of AiOnIc.
