A new readout noise model with even higher sensitivity of 15e (CDS) has also been introduced, suitable for monitoring through smoke and haze during the day and under low light at night.
The SCD-made InGaAs detector is a high-sensitivity and unique product that achieves excellent quantum efficiency and low readout noise. It is suitable for low-light imaging in scenes with limited light, such as at night, and for capturing images that penetrate smoke and haze, which are characteristic of the SWIR region. It is ideal for applications that require high performance under harsh environmental conditions. The pixel count can be selected from two types: VGA (15µm pitch) and SXGA (10µm pitch), and the VGA type also offers a camera core type with an easy-to-integrate video engine. Made in Israel, it is available domestically and is ITAR-free in the United States.
