When it comes to sensors, leave it to Hertz, regardless of industry or sector!
A behavior-monitoring type sensor that determines infrared signals to output via USB or transmit via RF to a sub-device. This sensor unit counts and measures the usage of televisions, which is essential for daily life, as a method to confirm the living responses of elderly individuals living alone. Compared to types that monitor the usage of water, gas, and electricity, it has the advantage of being easy to install, remove, and set up, as well as being able to recognize the action of operating a remote control. Of course, standard Hertz sensor products are available, and customization to customer specifications is also possible. We develop, design, and sell from one unit for both corporate and individual customers. It can be widely applied to safety devices, security devices, and convenient goods for caregiving. For corporate clients, we can also provide system design related to the sensors.

Applications/Examples of results
By learning the signals from infrared remote controls, it determines whether the devices are the same and counts/measures the number of times the remote control has been used. The usage status of the remote control can be output continuously or output the number of times it has been used at specified intervals. By checking this output status, it serves as a sensor that can monitor family members living alone. For example, the sensor can be installed next to a TV that a family member living alone frequently watches, and if the remote control is not used within a certain period, it can be determined that an abnormal situation has occurred, thus serving as a monitoring sensor that utilizes the frequency of infrared remote control usage.
