Introduction of a stone maintenance system for the resin terrazzo floor in Miyazaki Airport Terminal Building.

We would like to introduce a case study of the glass-based coating agent "Fine Coat." The transition to the "Fine Coat Stone Maintenance System" has been completed for the resin terrazzo floor in the Miyazaki Airport terminal building. Previously, polishing management was performed using grinding stones, but the gloss would deteriorate within a month, requiring frequent polishing. After conducting a trial introduction and verification, we found that even after nine months, there was hardly any deterioration in gloss, which received high praise and led to its adoption. In addition to reducing labor costs associated with polishing and the purchase costs of grinding stones, we have also achieved a cost reduction effect of about 20% compared to the previous year through simplification of daily management.
