The SI-485MB2 is an isolated model of a gateway that can bi-directionally convert the Modbus RTU/ASCII protocol using a serial interface to Modbus TCP compatible with Ethernet LAN. The gateway processing firmware supports both Modbus TCP master mode and Modbus TCP slave mode, and it is capable of converting all current Modbus RTU/ASCII registers and commands. There is optical isolation between the LAN and serial signals, ensuring high reliability. It has a built-in AC power supply that supports wide input, so no AC adapter is required. With an operating temperature range that accommodates minus 20°C, a robust metal housing, and compatibility with 35mm DIN rail mounting, this product can be confidently implemented in environments that require reliability in factory automation (FA) and process automation (PA). Additionally, maintaining the same functionality as the SI-485MB2, the SI-485MB2-L features a wall-mounted enclosure. It can be securely fixed to the wall using screws from the top of the unit without any additional options.
