Wetting the roof lowers the surface temperature through the effect of evaporative cooling, reducing the amount of heat transmitted indoors. ■ Inlet Cooling for Power Generation Equipment and Gas Turbines By lowering the temperature of the intake air with fine mist, the air density increases, boosting the turbine output.
