The main components inside the dust collector consist of washable and replaceable aluminum alloy plates arranged at regular intervals. Contaminated air is streamlined by a pre-filter and sent to the charging section (ionizer) at a constant flow rate. The positively charged contaminated particles, charged by the high voltage in the charging section, are repelled by the high voltage of the positive electrode as they pass through the dust collection section (collecting cell) and are collected on the negative electrode. The air, re-streamlined by the after-filter, is discharged as purified air with the contaminated particles removed. The electrostatic attraction adheres to the negative electrode with a force approximately 3000 times the mass of the contaminated particles. Liquid particles such as oil mist and oil smoke accumulate and coalesce, and after liquefying, flow down the vertically arranged negative electrodes, where they are collected as oil in the lower drain pan.
