Lightweight and compact for reduced construction costs! Winding drum for civil engineering and flood control opening and closing devices.
The "Gyard Drum" is a winding drum for opening and closing devices that employs a planetary gearbox with a main and auxiliary gear to evenly distribute load, achieving lightweight and compact design. It helps reduce construction and installation costs for various rope-operated opening and closing devices. With built-in sensors in the drum, the amount and temperature of oil, as well as gear vibrations, are monitored, enhancing safety. The completely sealed oil bath system also reduces oil maintenance costs. 【Features】 ■ Reduction of construction costs (machine production and civil engineering costs) ■ Improved aesthetics of opening and closing devices ■ Applicable to all types of rope-operated opening and closing devices ■ Fiber scope can be inserted from a fixed axis *For more details, please refer to the catalog. Established in November 1950, we inherited the business of the former Special Gear Manufacturing Co., which had been active in the industry as a reducer manufacturer since the early Showa period, to manufacture various types of reducers and paddle wheel ash removal devices. Since our establishment, thanks to the support of our customers, our business has steadily developed, completing several capital increases. In May 1973, we built a new factory in Shin-go, Hyogo Prefecture (now Tanba City), enhancing our production system in the reducer division while also developing unique new products in the labor-saving machinery division. In recent years, we have been manufacturing various drive devices for water treatment, aqua aerators, as well as various reducers and small opening and closing devices for gates in rivers and dams, continuing to this day.
