The "Massgood Adjustable Type" is a single pipe joint that vertically erects single pipes, such as the diagonally driven single pipe pile [Scat 91] and extension single pipes. When connecting an extension pipe to a diagonally driven single pipe, rotate two adjustable clamps around the pivot point of the single pipe while simultaneously twisting and adjusting the clamps to stand the single pipe upright. This method can cause significant misalignment of the pivot point of the vertically erected single pipe, leading to issues when trying to align multiple single pipe pivot points. Insert the "Massgood Adjustable Type" into the diagonally driven single pipe post "Scat 91," and then insert the single pipe that will be stood upright into the "Massgood Adjustable Type." At this point, there is no need to continue holding the "Massgood Adjustable Type" or the single pipe by hand, and there is almost no misalignment between the pivot point of the post and the pivot point of the upright single pipe. Bolt tightening adjustments can be easily done by anyone. The recommended bolt tightening torque is 35 Nm, and the pull-out test by JQA (Japan Quality Assurance Organization) yielded a result of 60.4 kN, ensuring that there will be no disconnection or loosening at the joint.
