It is characterized by the flexibility of the non-woven fabric and the three-dimensional distribution of the abrasive particles, providing a polishing finish that is intermediate between abrasive cloth tools and buffs. It is used for deburring, matting, hairline finishes, and polishing or cleaning before and after plating. As for the conditions during polishing, it should be used at a lower peripheral speed of 1500 m/min or less, due to the heat resistance of the base material, compared to abrasive cloth products.
