(This significantly streamlines inspections by welding contractors) **Piping Prefab** We can centrally manage the longitudinal welds of welded pipe fittings and welded steel pipes, as well as circumferential welds and corner welds for pipe supports, etc. (with specifications for leg length and throat thickness). (This further streamlines inspections by welding contractors) **Nuclear Management** For products intended for nuclear power plants, both items subject to inspections by welding contractors and those not subject to such inspections are managed separately during the manufacturing process within the factory to ensure complete traceability as part of nuclear management.

At Benkan Kiko, we are capable of manufacturing welded steel pipes, steel plate pipe fittings, and prefabricated piping, allowing us to centralize the planning documentation and inspection applications as stipulated by the Electric Utility Industry Law and the technical standards for nuclear or thermal power generation facilities, as well as management and inquiry contact points. According to the aforementioned regulations, a water pressure test is required to confirm the pressure performance of the pressure-bearing parts of the piping. However, if welded steel pipes, steel plate pipe fittings, and prefabricated piping are ordered from separate vendors, each will need to undergo individual water pressure tests, and additionally, the prefabricated piping will also require a water pressure test. In contrast, by centrally managing welded steel pipes, steel plate pipe fittings, and prefabricated piping, Benkan Kiko can consolidate the water pressure testing of individual piping components and the prefabricated piping, contributing to cost reduction for the entire project. Furthermore, for products with shapes not specified in the pipe fitting standards, we can perform structural analysis in the elastic or elastoplastic range using the finite element method (FEM) to conduct pressure design. Additionally, even within power plants, we accommodate prefabricated piping fittings, flanges, nozzles, and nipples for fire protection piping subject to the Fire Service Law, using stainless steel and carbon steel (galvanized).
