Our company has contributed to society through the provision of steel products that support infrastructure, based on the steelmaking technology we have cultivated for over half a century since 1937. During this time, we have consistently worked on advancements in production and product technology, responding to societal and customer demands by developing mechanical coupling methods for reinforcing bars that improve productivity in construction, high-strength steel, and providing steel materials that enhance workability and reduce processes for our customers. While steel production is expanding globally, in our country, which is a steel advanced nation, the generation of steel scrap, which consists of steel products that have already reached the end of their useful life, is quantitatively sufficient to support steel production in the civil engineering sector, which is the core of domestic infrastructure development. The role our company plays in the "reutilization" of iron resources, utilizing domestic resources like steel scrap with minimal energy to contribute to the formation of social capital, is becoming increasingly important.
