A protective film is formed on the silver surface, which maintains the luster of the silver for a long time. The protective film has good solderability and a low electrical contact resistance.
This is a silver discoloration preventive agent designed to protect the surfaces of electrical and electronic components, as well as jewelry and utensils made of silver and silver-plated materials, from various harmful atmospheres. The environments that affect silver and silver-plated surfaces are diverse, but particularly when exposed to atmospheres containing sulfur gas, sulfides are generated on the silver surface, resulting in a black discoloration of the silver surface, an increase in electrical resistance in electronic components, and a decrease in conductivity. The silver discoloration preventive agent AC10A forms a strong film on the silver surface, protecting it from sulfide and oxidation. Additionally, the protective film has good solderability and low electrical contact resistance. AC-10A is a water-based solvent type silver discoloration preventive agent. It is widely used in electrical and electronic components such as switch contacts that dislike water, connector contact parts, and printed circuit boards.

basic information
1. Pre-treatment AC-10A is a solvent-based silver discoloration preventive agent, so when treating with AC-10A, it is necessary to completely dry the surface of silver or silver-plated items. 2. Treatment Conditions The following are general standard treatment conditions. ◎ Method of Use: Immersion in AC-10A concentrate ◎ Temperature: Room temperature ◎ Time: 30 to 60 seconds ◎ Drying: After lifting, leave at room temperature or use air to evaporate the solvent. 3. Treatment Tank Use a tank made of stainless steel or synthetic resin such as polyethylene. 4. Reactivity of AC-10A AC-10A chemically reacts with the silver surface to form a very thin rust-proof film. This rust-proof film protects the silver surface from gases in the atmosphere (especially sulfide gases such as hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide) and prevents discoloration. Cautions for Use ● Since the solvent evaporates, keep the treatment tank covered when not in use. ● Do not add water to the treatment tank. ● Ensure good ventilation in the work area during treatment. ■ Packaging: 18kg *For more details, please contact us.

Asahi Corporation has been listening to our customers' requests and striving to develop products that meet their needs since our founding in 1958. So far, we have released a variety of products, including cleaning agents for kitchen areas, car shampoos and waxes for car wash machines, as well as copper and silver tarnish prevention agents. In recent years, there has been a growing demand for environmentally friendly chemicals, leading to an increase in requests for degreasers, cleaning agents, tarnish prevention agents for semiconductors, and high heat-resistant tarnish prevention agents that do not use strong acids or strong alkalis. Our products have been developed in response to such voices from the beginning. We will continue to listen to a variety of feedback and develop new products.
