Are there any cases where you want to connect to the network using a wired fiber connection on a laptop with Windows 7/8.1 or a MacBook?
From a security perspective, the proliferation of wireless LAN networks poses a high risk for companies and hospitals. Additionally, in environments where electromagnetic wave effects must be considered, are there any projects that require securely linking Windows tablets, MacBook Pros, or laptops running Linux at 100 Mbps? The Scorpion-USB is a USB 2.0 connected 100M Ethernet adapter. It can directly recognize 100BASE-FX as a device on a laptop, allowing for power supply via USB bus power and direct extension using optical fiber. The connection can be made to devices with the 100BASE-FX communication standard, or to 100BASE-FX SFP modules inserted into SFP switches, or to media converters. The optical fiber can be of SC connector type or LC connector type, and if needed, ultra-long distance (up to 200 km) using single-mode LC optical fiber is also possible. The drivers provided are compatible with Win7/8.0/8.1, both 32/64 bit, and have obtained WHQL certification. It also supports OSX 10.5 to 10.10.

Applications/Examples of results
- Prohibited area for wireless equipment at the airport - Purpose for connecting to the network within the hospital (where an optical patch panel is already installed and PCs are directly connected via optical fiber cables). Wireless connections are prohibited, and wired connections (UTP) are also completely banned due to security concerns. Previously, it was connected via a PCI-Express expansion board, but due to the popularity of high-end laptops among doctors over desktop PCs, there are plans to replace everything with Scorpion-USB and Windows 8.1 laptops.

Company information
The company was established in 1994 as a provider of IT-related product imports, sales, and technical support. We primarily offer distribution and technical support for cutting-edge computer network-related products and information communication security products from the United States. Recognizing early on that security measures against computer viruses and malware are essential for information communication networks, we have also engaged in the sales and support of information security-related products. In recent years, cyber attacks targeting specific entities have become a social issue, making defense measures against threats essential for businesses and organizations. In addition to solutions for defending against malicious external attacks and preventing information leaks, we provide new solutions that utilize artificial intelligence (AI) to detect early signs of cyber attacks that penetrate internal networks and internal threats by leveraging machine learning and mathematical theories, thereby preventing incidents before they occur.
