Simultaneous measurement of thermogravimetric analysis (TG) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is possible.
The STA allows for simultaneous measurements of thermogravimetric analysis (TG) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). It is the only device capable of high-temperature specific heat measurements up to 1400°C. You can choose from six types of heating furnaces, covering a wide measurement temperature range (-150°C to 2400°C). Additionally, the double furnace mechanism allows for the installation of two furnace bodies. It achieves a TG resolution of 0.025μg, with stability at 1400°C holding at 1μg/h. The TG measurement range is up to 35g (volume: 5cm³), accommodating both small and large sample measurements. With the newly developed OTS system, measurements can be conducted at oxygen concentrations below 1ppm, which was not possible with conventional vacuum replacement. It is also compatible with QMS, FT-IR, and GCMS coupling.
