The "S6CV" series is a variable displacement piston pump for closed circuits. This pump is of the swash plate type and can optionally be equipped with a through drive. This type of pump is specially designed for hydraulic transmissions in closed circuits. The pump discharge flow is proportional to the shaft speed and the angle of the swash plate. The discharge increases as the angle of the swash plate increases from zero to maximum. Since the angle of the swash plate tilts to the opposite side as it passes through zero, the direction of the pump discharge also changes.
